My name is Christopher Scott Taylor and I would like to welcome you to my website.I have been playing  Charvel import guitars since they first introduced back in 1988. I guess it would be safe to say I have a passion for them. They might not be the quality of the USA Jacksons and Charvels but they are still great players. This site was designed to share my guitars and information about these great guitars. If you are interested in more information about Charvel and Jackson guitars be sure to check out my links.

If I ever get this thing close to done my Next project will to add some information and pictures of my British motorcycle. I have about a dozen of them that are in running condition. There are some 50/60's Matchless motorcycles. I also have a 1 of 50 AJS 7R Poor Boy racer from 1948. This was the 1st year they made this bike. I also have some Nortons and a Triumph.

My Blue Ghost Flame Shannon, USA Star and USA Standard.

kats_wht_sm On June 6th my band Katz-n-Jammer will be playing at Simon Sez in Mcallen. We would like to invite everyone to join us Saturday from 10-2. This will be our time back to Simon Sez since we regrouped and changed our name from SWIG. Besides changing the name we have a new singer Micheal Valdez. We have also changed up the music to a more good time rock and roll format. We hope to see you there.

What Year Is My Import Charvel PDF Print E-mail

m7Here is a chance to try to date your Charvel import guitar.

Serial numbers don't really mean anything when it comes to trying to dating your Charvel import guitar. Jackson never tracked serial numbers on any of their import models. Bolt on import Charvel serial numbers are simply sequential with no other meaning. The plates were shared among all the various bolt on models (Model 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.). The best way to date your guitar would be your headstock logo and neckplate gasket or no gasket. As far as what Model do you have, that would more about your guitars configuration. What pickup configuration do you have? what hardware? and so on. I will cover identifying models in another article.
